Tahini Dressing
2 Tbsp. plain sesame oil (unrefined) or olive oil
1/4 cup toasted sesame oil (not plain sesame oil)
1/2 cup tahini
2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
1/4 cup water
5 small green onions (white and green parts)
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. Braggs Liquid Aminos or Nama Shoyu (raw soy sauce) + 1 tsp. more
3 fresh garlic cloves (or less to taste)
2 tsp. sesame seeds (toast them first if desired)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Combine all ingredients in blender. Taste and adjust flavor to taste.
* If too thick add water, a Tbsp. at a time.
* Add a tsp. more vinegar or soy for a stronger flavor.
* A tsp. more sesame oil will add a richer flavor
* Store in fridge with tight fitting lid
